Poem
Kindness and compassion I have gone astray in my passion, But I remember Your beloved son, Oh Lord of Accord and I love Your brethren I hope and pray that God be with me Throughout my days and nights I wish Jehovah would set me free Through my sorrows and frights Paradise and the Kingdom come Come shine, you’re mine, love, what have I become? My kindness to you is but a tree limb My kindness is to you growing so thin My kindness towards God, however, is never dim Should I be happy for my solace to win? Distress and happiness is what I want But I am haunted by my love’s only taunt I will continue in kindness, for I’ve done You good in Your sight, for You’re my sun I hope and pray that God be with me Throughout my days and nights I wish Jehovah would set me free Through my sorrows and frights Paradise and the Kingdom come Come shine, you’re mine, love, what have I become? My kindness to you is but a tree limb My kindness is to you growing so thin My kindness towards God, however, is never dim Should I be happy for my solace to win? Wonderful delight has made me feel Made me feel like I haven’t yet healed Might as well feel happy while I can — these feelings of woe is no big deal To you, but to You, oh God — You are my shield I’m just tired of feeling too good enough for you I’m enlightened by His truth and His ongoing love I’m never tired of feeling great and you should too I’m brightened by the height of heaven above, my dove I hope and pray that God be with me Throughout my days and nights I wish Jehovah would set me free Through my sorrows and frights Paradise and the Kingdom come Come shine, you’re mine, love, what have I become? My kindness to you is but a tree limb My kindness is to you growing so thin My kindness towards God, however, is never dim Should I be happy for my solace to win? No matter what, God loves me, despite who I call Him as honestly…forever happy… Please do not shut The door on me, father — but, my Father Is here with me abundantly Kindness and compassion I have gone astray in my passion, But I remember Your beloved son, And I love You Father unlike any other and my fearlessness towards you is none Because I’m done feeling and dealing with my anger Because I love you father and mother beyond measure But, I love Him and Christ more than anyone by nature Why then do I feel displeasure? I’m hopeful and doubtful of My deliverer…
