Characters: Narrator, Queen Bee & Worker Bee. Setting: Inside a bustling beehive, buzzing with activity. The Queen Bee inspects the honeycomb. Narrator: Deep in the hive, a kingdom thrives, Golden walls and buzzing lives. The Queen Bee reigns, with a watchful eye, Her workers toil, beneath the sky. (Queen Bee flutters her wings, surveying the hive) Queen Bee: Busy bees, your wings a-thrum, Pollen bright, a joyful hum. Honeycomb walls, our golden pride, In this sweet hive, we all reside. (A young worker bee bursts into the hive, frantic) Worker Bee: Oh, Queen! A terror grips my heart, A friend is lost, torn, ripped apart! A shimmery net, a sticky snare, A monstrous spider, waiting there! (Queen Bee turns sharply, her voice hardening) Queen Bee: The web of death, a chilling sight, A cruel design, that claims its right. One life may fall, a fleeting breath, But life itself defies such death. (Queen Bee looks out at the web with a resolute expression) Narrator: Though sorrow stings, the Queen holds strong, Nature's cruel dance, where death belongs. From fallen forms, new life will bloom, A cycle spun, within the tomb. (Queen Bee addresses the worker bee directly) Queen Bee: Go, little bee, spread the word wide, Let work and life, forever confide. Though loss may strike, with the chilling blow, The hive endures, and the cycle must flow. (The worker bee nods solemnly and flies back to the hive) Narrator: The Queen alone, with regal gaze, Watches the web, a beauty's daze. Death intertwined with life's embrace, A circle spun, in nature's space. (End Scene)
