Poem
Can you remember who you were, Before the world told you who you should be? In that golden time when dreams were your wings And your soul was a blank canvas, untouched by time. In the garden of innocence, you ran among flowers of light, With eyes as clear as the endless springs of the sky. The world was a field of stars, and you were a cosmic traveler, Unbound by expectations, as free as the desert wind. But then, with time, the world held up mirrors of illusions, And in their piercing reflections, you began to lose yourself. Your inner voice faded, transformed into a whisper, And you donned the mantle of an imposed identity, like a carnival mask. You drifted away from yourself, your steps becoming dark shadows, Seeking approval, losing yourself in the labyrinth of others' expectations. You built walls from words whispered by others, And your heart became a faint echo in a cave of silences. But somewhere, deep within your soul, the spark still burns, Like an undying star in the night sky, calling you home. Remember the pure beauty of your essence, For you are a gateway to infinity, an open window to truth. In the incense of melancholy, find your lost wings, Shake off the dust of years of conformity, And listen to the ancient song of your heart. Return to where the sky meets the crystal sea, And rediscover who you were, before the world told you who to be. That person still lives in every breath you take, Captive in a prison of forgetfulness, but awaiting liberation. Let the magic of authenticity fill your soul, And step once more on the path of your golden dreams.
