Poem
Through wanderings of dreams that simmer beneath closed eyelids, A man chose to remain silent, waiting in vain for vibrant moments. Wrapped in the warm cocoon of faded security, He saw life turning down a different street, laying out its crimson carpet of fear. Chained in the comfort of complacency, he watches time come and go, With a deafened heart, imprisoned in his cage of stifled aromas. He did not bring his heart to the realm of embracing courage, And life, a silent messenger, passed him by with dubious promises of unbridled potential. The garment of freedom was offered to him, but he left it in the pouch of uncertainty, Afraid to soil his feet in uncharted, boundless waters, For his pillows were stitched with threads of tranquil judgments, And he chose to live his days as a second shadow, in unordered fields. What is life, if not a courageous waltz among the stars, From where you can witness the dance of asteroids without touching them in the distance? He remained on the edge of the forest, where pale light seeps through the bars, Filled with sorrow that tomorrow does not come to rescue him from the webs of steel, from the shore of procrastination. He lived at the crossroads of the unspeakable, watching the world's carousel in haste, Silenced by the echo of footsteps that refuse to step into the unknown, In his restless heart, he gathered excuses like ships that refuse to escape, And the vastness of life became a mirror he dared not let his dreams wander, shattered. Oh, that pitiable man, weaving his days from faded expectations, With a blind soul and broken hands, pawning in the courtyard of priceless security, What did he do but wait for the second wellspring of goodness that forever remains silent, Life passing him by, like a phantom ship on seas of eternal, insatiable solitude.
