Poem
Somewhere…in the realm of Happiness blue skies glisten with sun light accenting outstretched wings that glide gracefully upon the air somewhere… the distant laughter of unseen children usher in pleasant memories which fills…the atmosphere. Somewhere…in the realm of Happiness winds tenderly suckle fields of colors that are abundant and washed with fragrances unforsaken somewhere… tree limbs in an afternoon’s golden glow bend picturesquely…laden with fruit…waiting to be taken. Somewhere…in the realm of Happiness the knit of family needled with purls of perseverance boasts of strength somewhere… one prays to never have to face the loss of happiness…for it is their content. But this is not so…Here…where I abide not Here…where happiness has flown no, not…Here…where for years …its been unknown. Rather…in the absence of happiness Here…is the Fullness of His Joy substantiating that God’s Word… is not a ploy Here…is a Savior who has not turned neither has He swayed instead has drawn even closer attending in every way. Here…is a God who has promised to never abandon who through this present darkness still points to ‘trust’ tavern. Here…is the embrace which this soul doth desperately seek and the warmth…that doth bring the rebuke of doubt’s heap. Here…a gentle nudge timely reminds… everything will be put to the test as the end is encroaching…with final call and nothing is goes unchallenged… in my precious... keepsake-chest. Should I complain…am I above disdain… while some are dying by the thousands because they claim ‘His’ Name? My Redeemer has nothing at all …to explain! Thus, I pen so that others should take heart and know…You can go on! I pen that we be reminded... there is still a reason for a praise song! I pen that we never lose faith... but know…though not happy or full of cheer the loss of such is not despair as there is... an antidote...for every tear… for...HIS JOY... is always …HERE!
