Her Story Her story What lies behind the smile Whew, Chile..... Are you ready? This may take a while Her story doesn't get told As much as it should You see, people remember the bad And forget about all the good They forget about what women stood for and stood by This brings tears to my eyes Not a single eye dry Women have always been The reasoning Like the meat to the seasoning You need it We are like an open book Read it What is written It was written with work , hurt, and even through the trials She does everything with a smile She wants to cry But she stands strong She is the glue She makes it stick One thing about it She will find a solution real quick She doesn't quit She keeps pressing Even when she is stressing We, as women, are a blessing What's your story What's mine We are all a part of a cloth that turned out pretty fine Each stitch has a meaning And so does our life You see, women. We don't mind, sacrifice We sacrifice every day We cover , we keep each other lifted in prayer Just a call away Always will be there We are the elegance in the ball The confidence we have says it all Who makes it happen Us We make it through all kinds of stuff Even when it's rough We patch it up We can dig a ditch But never get stuck We stratergize We are not competing Not components We are a big deal Yes We are the absolute best When you begin reading a book You never know how it's going to end That's why we encourage everyone we can win Even through falling Get back up again A woman is a man's rib He protects her But she gives She gives her heart She gives everything to make a perfect start Like a shopping cart She keeps rolling And doesn't Stop She gives it all she got You see, her story will never be forgot And bless her If she is a mother Raising kids On their own You see, women are strong All day long They somehow make it With life they shake it up and succeed We as women we are the ball point to a pen The lines to a paper The curtain to the drapes We as women can take Take a lot We are like the water in the pot We make some special we are the whistle to a kettle When it's done We are number one. We deserve the world We run it Listen to us you can learn some from it We are what people said we couldn't be We can do anything As long as we set our mind to it Yes We are the bubble sheet to a test Read carefully We are so selfless You see We are givers we have gave The way we did pave In all of her story Remember the one who gets the glory And makes her go Its the Lord jeep him first And your life will glisten Happy womens month Thanks for lending me your ears to listen.
