My heart is heavy, I cannot deny,
Life is tough, I can't help but sigh.

The weight I carry, it seems to grow,
It's hard to bear, this feeling of woe.

Loneliness surrounds me, it clings to my skin,
I try to shake it, but it won't give in.

No friends to turn to, no one to talk to,
It's hard to believe, but it's sadly true.

My ex, who I thought would understand,
Has let me down, it's not what I had planned.

Instead of reaching out, pulling me near,
They misunderstood, and shed no tear.

Life seems pointless, not worth living at all,
The world doesn't know, my heart's about to fall.

No one can see, the pain that I hide,
I feel so alone, with nowhere to confide.

My friends don't want to hear, they turn away,
My ex has moved on, I have nothing to say.

The tears flow freely, I wish I could leave,
Escape this pain, this heartache, this grief.

But I'll keep on fighting, I won't give in,
I'll find the strength, from within.

Someday, I'll find someone who understands,
Who'll hold my hand, and help me to stand.

Until then, I'll hold on tight,
To every bit of hope, no matter how slight.

My heart may be heavy, life may be tough,
But I'll keep on fighting, I'll never give up.
