I hang memories in chosen frames,
Graceful images portraying the past,
When hearts shared the gentleness, the glory and grace,
I grieve for the moments, fleeting glimpses,
Yesterday embraced by the gaze – attempting
To raise beautiful beneath moist lashes.

Feelings erasing the weary past – promises,
Burdened by the gaze from slow solitude,
Where the memories fade into a thoughtfulness,
And the thought – both feeling and grace,
Stills the heartbreak, sacrifice…
Who will outlast all the melancholic moments,
Distressed days when the joy tempts away the darkness.

Heavy hearts bleed hope when they’re smiling,
In chosen frames, like shadows
Amazed by the way the light silences the fears,
Who taunt the spirit and arise to haunt even the sighs,
Inviting grace to erase all those feelings, 
The ones who bleed sorrow into the present,
Feelings who question where those days went…

Days, in chosen frames, before now
Erased every dream that would be with the largeness,
Of a moment who is here, existing – beyond the photo’s 
Smiling image, beyond the feelings
That blessed away the past and remembered to share,
Only the glimpse of a treasure, a thought
From the passing moment, the inkling of a time
That only the heart can remind – has been,
And will forever be captured by the photo in the frame,
That chosen frame showing what is left to remind…
