Poem
Route, pronounced either ROOT or ROWT, is pronounced ROWT in this poem. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jesus came down and lived with us, he felt our pain. He shared his love for all people, even those who were unkept. For all of those who listen to his words, it was their gain. Jesus was judged wrongly by friends and the company he kept. He suffered betrayal, abandonment and the lack of trust. Jesus felt all of our emotions because he was also human, he wept. Jesus taught us to love our enemies and those who are unjust. He had, tears not of weakness, but to show us it was okay to cry out. Jesus came into this world to testify to us what is true and just. He had an immense empathy for those who were poor and their route. Jesus showed us what peace and forgiveness is in a relationship. At his dinner table, he would have mixed company that would turn-out. Jesus showed us that strangers eating together could develop a friendship. He did not judge others by their looks, but by what is in their heart. He was not one to recline and receive, but rather to serve with leadership. Jesus enjoyed going to weddings, sharing wine and food, and taking part. Jesus did not come to be served, but he was the one to serve as he gave. Jesus promised us that he would reach out to us and not leave or depart Jesus died on the cross for us, we will be saved if we believe and behave.
