Poem
The story has been told of how those brave souls wander in the desert drinking urine for water and having dust for their supper while journeying to America and somewhere in the East violence erupts in the street, and bullets grazing in the sky hitting strong men in their face and spilling blood all over the place. They scattered in many directions when the gunmen came along, their shoes fell off their feet and the gunmen hunt them like savage beast in the bushes. Some hid in trees with thistles and thorn pricking their feet, others crawl on their belly and hid under leaves in the gutters. They stifle every cough and sneeze and allow their breathing to evaporate with the breeze. Bullets explodes in the air hitting those in range and splitting couples apart, you could hear the screams and shouts and hungry bear walking about liking up the blood form the ground. The painful image came alive as I watch the planes maneuvering in the sky. The story has been told of two lovers that have never met, their hearts tangle with each other and a peculiar love that bond them together. They are like old soul that met decades ago in a concert hall packed with music lovers and memories line on stage rocking to the rhythm of the violin and the flute. I can see the image right in front me and two lovers standing next to each other with a special smile that resonates from the heart. Two different races bind together as one yearning for each other and sacrifice made for one another. It is the same blood that runs in the vein, it is the same blood that drives the multitude insane; it is a passion that they would keep and kind of obsession that bind them so deep. "You have got my heart" and I will keep the memory of that bosom love that came together in the middle of the desert when everyone has deserted her, he came just in time and fell into her arms, “You have got my heart,” he said, “I will not leave you in the lion’s den, I will take you with me and we will be one happy family” It is a smile that you could not deny and the passion that was wrapped up inside unfold when they met each other for the first time and he said once more “You have got my heart” and they embraced.
