Poem
Written: September 2nd 2023 ______________________________________________________________ Lord, grant the kids of earth peace and comfort. In this world where chaos and fear so often distort, Shelter them from all harm and the storms of life. Let them find solace amidst the strife. Let no child feel hungry today, dear Lord. In their innocent hearts, let compassion be stored. Provide them with vittles for both body and soul. So they may grow strong and reach their goal. Bless them for their chastity and tender hearts. May they never lose their wonder, their joyful starts, Shield them from the darkness that surrounds, Let them always feel love's healing bounds. Support them to feel your love, oh gracious Lord, Wrap them in your arms and hold them close, restored. Guide them through the trials they may face. And cram their lives with your redemptory grace. For these innocent souls, we offer up our prayers. That they may find peace and grip you're always there. Lord, hear our plea as we bow our heads in prayer. Grant the children of the earth your love and care. In this world of chaos, grant them solace and peace. Let their innocent laughter and joy never cease. Protect them from harm—from the evils of this world. And let your love be their guiding light, unfurled. Lord, we pray for the children, so pure and divine, May they always know that they are truly thine. Grant them the power and grit to face each day anew. May your love and blessings always shine through. A prayer for the innocent souls, we offer with hope, That they may find comfort and strength to cope. Lord, grant them peace and surround them with care. They are the future, the ones we must nurture and prepare. In this prayer, we ask for your guidance and grace. To protect these innocent souls in every place. Lord, let no child pass unnoticed or unloved. May they find safety and warmth, as a gentle dove. Lord, we entrust the children of earth to your embrace. They are the epitome of your grace. Grant them a world where they can thrive and grow. Where their dreams and aspirations can freely flow.
