Look with me  and behold , our island Jamaica far and wide,
Embracing  our motto : out of many ;one people from town to the countryside.
We are  a nation of great wealth in talents and abilities,
And together we find ways to celebrate our achievements and face our realities.
Our characters make the world a better place for all to live,
And we put our hearts in all that we do as of ourselves we freely give.
Building character, hearts through the arts is the bedrock of our nation,
As we explore, create, think openly and express ourselves  in any situation.
Whether through the visual, performing or culinary arts  this we will achieve,
Strong characters as a nation of strong moral values poised for change in our mindset as we give and receive.
Through the arts our future generations will become more tolerant, disciplined and committed to making this world a better place,
As teamwork, creativity, empathy, reasoning and resilience they learn,  as  struggles  they face.
The Arts have the power to ignite a fire in our hearts as we embrace each other,
And rise above our differences through critical thinking, collaboration, inventions self-motivation,
Stirring up in our hearts a call to action as we speak and speak out about every unjust situation.
The Arts is in our hearts as we stand tall with pride and dignity as a blessed nation poised to achieve more greatness,
As  we  continue to build relationships, self-esteem , conflict resolution , strong moral values to become simply the best.
Let us with one voice rally the masses from  near and far as we  play our part,
In celebrating  our island Jamaica and building character - hearts through the arts.
