In the silence of the heart,
There comes a joy – a spark
Hope that remembers to dream,
Joy that flows through faith,
Love that never grows dim –
Love that frees souls from sin

In the silence of the thought,
There comes a memory, a hope
Lingering in the promises
From the One who created us all,
The One who abides inside the soul,
The One who is the answer to every 
Doubt, every prayer, every pang
Of regret…

In the silence of the soul,
There comes a presence, His glorious
Spirit, arising up from the knowing
He is alive – His love has survived,
Throughout all time, overpowering
Overflowing the waters of sorrow,
Spreading love that never dies,
Peace that will forever abide,
A fire that remembers to provide…

Inspiration for you and I – inspiration
To hear His words, do what He says,
Pray and heed – listen to His correction,
Understand and believe, He is the lesson
He is the reason and the opportunity
He is the grace that withstands eternally
He is the One that silence the dark in me,
He is the One that I will praise through all time,
With an adoration that won’t subside,
Worshipping so that forever never wanes
Worshipping the One who made me understand…

Love like this is forever – He’s made a way
Through the darkness, to the light of day
Through the horrors, to the promise of grace
Through the fears and tears, lasting through the years…
He is there, inside my soul – silencing the pain,
Overshadowing the doubts and inspiring me to give
From a heart who will always believe…

He is alive - He is my everything!
