August 4 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Ezekiel 1-4

Key Verse – Ezekiel 1:28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY GLORIOUS ALMIGHTY CREATOR			

Lord God, You are my glorious Almighty Creator 
amidst Your holy authority 
Thank You for enclosing me inside Your hands of security
With Your protective sovereignty
Making me shielded against iniquity’s fatality.

Lord God, You are my glorious Almighty Creator 
amidst Your lovingkindness 
Thank You for lifting me up by Your cheerfulness
With Your voice of comforting peacefulness
Making me blissful in Your joyfulness.

Lord God, You are my glorious Almighty Creator 
amidst Your tender mercy 
Thank You for forgiving me along Your granted clemency
With Your pardon of gracious fervency
Making me grateful as I honour Your excellency.

Lord God, You are my glorious Almighty Creator 
amidst Your righteous presence 
Thank You for correcting me of my impudence
With Your transforming iridescence 
Making me converted toward virtuous persistence.

Lord God, You are my glorious Almighty Creator 
amidst Your divine partnership 
Thank You for inviting me into Your fellowship
With Your welcoming relationship of privileged friendship
Making me blessed in stewardship pursuits by Your discipleship.

Lord God, You are my glorious Almighty Creator 
amidst Your supreme commitment 
Thank You for besieging me to plunge into Your goodness’ engagement
With Your sealed establishment against worldliness-defilement
Making me empowered to serve You toward heavenly accomplishment.

Lord God, You are my glorious Almighty Creator 
amidst Your immutable light 
Thank You for illumining me through Your Scriptures’ delight
With Your infallible truth to fight deceit, doubt and unbelief-blight
Making me glad in Your wisdom to smite blurred spiritual insight.
