Grab my glow sticks
dig out my old whistle
And my 1 and only white right hand silk glove
And faded black and yellow smilly face t-shirt from the back of my cupboard

And please take me back one more time
There to when i was near abouts turning 20
Willing to live on the edge
Try and do anything once no matter how dangerous stupid dumb or naive that was

And be damned the consequences armed with youthful innocence

Willing to face them in the morning or when i am older and have to face eventually growing up
 
But for now let me just remenis if only for a little while
Whilst i still can

As who knows for sure exactly if tommorow will ever come 
Or 
Even if it will at all

But whatsoever does i want to know
At least i didn't leave anything to chance 

I did everything yesterday when it came a calling at my door
Dipped my toes in every ocean i came across took my time out to feel the sand between my toes

Played with fire inspite of the fact and prior knowledge i could get burnt 
And ended up doing so more than once or twice

One of lifes many lessons to be learnt and personal cost and heavy price to pay

And do i regret them now

Well yes i obviously do

Otherwise I would be lying 

But not half as much as getting old does

In the end truth be told

If all you have is fond memories

To cling and hold onto getting old

Rather than a family or loved ones
of your own
