The sun rises every morning, dawning
With renewed hope and joy, peace
That promises to lift the darkness, those shadows
Who remember only the sin and sadness

The sun restores the flower, the beauty
Hidden quietly beneath the stem, reflecting
All the wonder, the enlightenment 
Found in the heart who beats blissfully for Him

The Son raises the spirit, the heart – He heals
All the tears that fall silent, breaking hearts
He repairs the spirit’s scratches, the memories
That cover love with a dread, a doubt, a cloud

The Son returns to the heart who hears, believes
With Him, there is renewal, restitution, resilience
Found in the spirit of the One who came to earth
To bring us redemption and truth, eternal love

The sun seeks to whisper light through our darkest storms
The Son seeks to breathe life through out spirits, our dreams
The sun rises to inspire and soothe and reflect peace
The SON rises to invite us to eternity with Him, our greatest need

Thanks to God, we can know the meaning of eternal life
Thanks to the Son, we can know a love that is beyond this world
Love that is so good it glows with wonder, beauty, gentleness
Peace that wipes out all the grief – joy that succeeds in bringing
Relief from the darkest sin – thanks to His love, we can begin
Again, start over from the foundation – the One who created us
Brings to life the meaning of a second chance, a new day –
The amazing grace that made a way where there was no way

Thanks to God – Thanks to His Son – there is this love 
That heals every soul, restores every hope – love like this
Is the whole reason we can believe Him – He is everything that means anything
He is the One who made us, changed us and reinstated us
Into the relationship with Him, the answer to every heart’s hesitation

Thanks to God – Thanks to His Son – There is love beyond our wildest dreams
There is love that can only be found in the heart who believes in His gift…
Grace that made a way for our hearts to find real peace, our spirits to agree
With Him, the entire meaning of love and life – is found in His sweet sacrifice!
