Poem

It was not my wish that I slipped into this world,
Nor owing designs of my parents I got whirled;
Something that seemed like fate or predestination,
Bliss or nemesis or angelic elation;
Who foresaw my exact color or shape or form?
To find me into this form did they have their norm...?

Doesn't any ant that fallen in a river strive,
To reach the shore unharmed and perfectly alive?
Doesn't a rat captured by a tricky trap struggle,
To escape from it, byways hook or hook juggle?
Isn't existence, here on earth, like a slushy lure?
Aren't colors, here, like rainbows many dreams assure...?

The fulfillment of duties, here, in uprightness,
Caring for and sharing one's wealth in finiteness;
Treating likes and dislikes in equilibrium,
Having, on one's salvation, no delirium;
Shouldn't, these, like flower and fragrance or flesh and blood,
Streams of goodness and kindness and compassion flood...?

The strongest iron too, sometimes, undergoes rust.
Isn't acceptance of our life, as it is, a must?
Inner Intelligence of meaning and fullness,
Wishing, in words and deeds, universal wellness;
Accomplishing, in each step, the purpose of birth,
Shouldn't we find the fulfillment of life in our death...???
