Thinking, not all deserve my compassion or care
I put myself out there
Yes I dared 
I wish I hadn't cared
Are they worth the pain they cause me
I want to be free 
Will never be 
Why must I feel them if I can't do a thing but feel them cry
Why
Compassion , empathy , worthless to them I can't reach  
I don't care about me. 
Don't you see.
I have given all I have , all I am , set me free
This flesh dies. 
My soul cries
Time flies
I can't get away 
What must I say. 
Give me the right word
Make my voice heard
Tell me what I must do
My desire is true
If I don't , who will. 
I feel them still
The hungry the homeless the poor
We must do more
Open that door
truly am I insane
That I still feel their pain
What am I to do
I ask you 
They are our sisters, and brothers
Our father's and mother's
Our families one and all
We do nothing , mankind will fail
We have to work together but we don't. 
We just won't !
It makes me so sad
And it's just too bad
But still , I feel them cry
Why
I want to give up so bad
And that makes me sad
