March 16 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on 1Samuel 9-12

Key Verse –1Samuel 9:9 Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to enquire of God, thus he spake, Come, and let us go to the seer: for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY INQUIRY SEER
				
Lord God, You are my inquiry Seer 
Who finds me needy of Your grace 
Thank You for bidding me to warm myself in Your sweet embrace
Here am I needing Your compassion in my struggles along life’s race
Indeed continuing in Your will where Your name I can freely praise.

Lord God, You are my inquiry Seer 
Who hears me crying for forgiveness
Thank You for showing me Your Word’s faithfulness
Here am I praying that You keep me in Your holy blissfulness
Indeed communing with You by Your goodness.

Lord God, You are my inquiry Seer 
Who sees me longing for Your anointing 
Thank You for saving me out from adversities, terribly besetting
Here am I delighting in Your welcoming fellowship’s meeting
Indeed cleaving to You in every trial and testing.

Lord God, You are my inquiry Seer 
Who helps me whenever I enquire for Your wisdom 
Thank You for inspiring me with biblical accounts of martyrdom
Here am I submitting to You as You carry me upward to Your kingdom
Indeed choosing to enjoy Your granted divine freedom.

Lord God, You are my inquiry Seer 
Who moves me toward my covenant-fulfillment
Thank You for satisfying me for my glad contentment
Here am I pleading for Your favour that upholds my faith-commitment
Indeed clinging unto You while obeying Your commandment.

Lord God, You are my inquiry Seer 
Who hearkens to my voice of supplication 
Thank You for fighting for me against evil destruction
Here am I walking along paths of righteousness with sincere devotion
Indeed calling always for Your strength in my ministry-participation.

Lord God, You are my inquiry Seer 
Who delivers me for my safety 
Thank You for teaching me Scriptures’ doctrine of truth-certainty
Here am I desiring always to behold Your holiness’ beauty
Indeed coming to Your presence of sovereign authority.
