Poem
While we live our lives, we have our in’s and out's, through our hard times we learn how to doubt. We can only do, with the knowledge we have within, as we live, thing's don't work out, doubting ourself now begins. We learn at an early age to question the thing's we do, did we do this right? After awhile of searching, it makes sense to you. All through our life's, we believe That we have done well, then old age set's in, blow's it all to hell! Hine sight is better than fore sight, you see, we now look back, from our golden year's, how could this be? You see thing's more clear, than ever before, we see where we were wrong, and so much more. The people we hurt, with the word's we said, all the doubts, the wrong things we done come crashing in our head. Now with the sight of an eagle you see, our old age gets the best of you and me. Now it's to late, we can't change a thing, in our old age, these truth's do sting. We struggle, we fight to just except our past, we hope, we pray that these memories don't last. Bitter and angry some do become, to the world around us we become numb. The past that we once knew, you see, shows us the truth, however it be. It's hard to swallow this nasty old pill, there's nothing you can do, your over the hill. Except the rights, and fix the wrongs, while your young you see, cause someday you will be as old as me. Then you will find that it's to late, you can't change the past, for it's sealed by fate. Now at an old age, we become bitter within, wishing we knew these things, when our lives begin. Hind sight, fore sight, which should we see? when we are young we look forward, when we get old, we only look back at how it use to be. When we are old, ahead of us our sight grows dim, as we set there out on this limb. So fix your wrongs, in your youth I say, if you don't you'll grow old and bitter someday!
