The Bible is more than words
It’s faith in the author, the writer
Of every dream, every future
He wrote the stars and the snowflake
He wrote the oaks, pines and laurel
He wrote the hearts and the souls

More than anything, the Bible is…
Abiding peace, a grace that believes
In eternity – 

The Scriptures reveal…
His ability to bring joy on earth,
Miracles from a life He has saved,
Abundance, even when there is doubt

The Bible tells me…
To listen to the ideas, the inspirations
Stirred to life by His spirit, His kindness
Promising to give every life a new beginning
Every soul a new experience and every 
Thought a chance to heal, a chance to bring
Beauty from the pain, joy from the sorrow…
Compassion from the rejection that knows
Only heartbreak and heartrending shame

The Bible promises me…
With Him by my side, I can always claim
The victory, defeating every enemy
With the love that He brings to life inside
Love that is forever, eternally alive –
Love that survives even the worst that comes
Love that decides – to bring joy to the world!

The Bible truly is – inescapable, indescribable
Inexplicable and extraordinary – It contains
The light of life on every page, in every word
There is abiding faith, amazing grace, the beauty
That lives in the life who truly believes, the life
That He has given the answers in words breathed
By the One whose spirit is the most authentic love!

The Bible, my friend – holds the answers to every need
It is alive, more powerful than the deepest poetry
It is wise, more clever than any narrative in the world
It is life, more influential than any force on earth
It is God’s word – the solution to every worry or fear,
The promise that assures every heart who believes
The Bible, my friend – is the spirit’s response to disbelief

God’s word brings truth without reservation – in promises
That stir up faith that is everlasting, faith that is His answer
