Kindness

Found in mothers
All over the world, eternally
Providing, offering their love
Generous and benevolent,
Inspiring beauty and grace…

Filled with affection,
Never without an embrace,
Gentle as the softest kitten…
Yet, stronger than the bear
Who knows only to be protective,
Shielding its cub from the intruder –
Reminding the heart that we too…
Will defend with everything we have
Inside us – becoming stronger
With the urgency of sheltering
The ones we love and the one…
God has blessed us with, to safeguard

Found in mothers
All around the earth, forever
Giving back to the stars and moon…
Reflections erasing the shadows
Whispering light into the darkness,
Forever brightening the heart…
With a kindness that only comes
From the one who God has blessed
Us with – the mother who nurtures,
Gives and protects – the Mother…
Who is our hearts best blessing,
The kindness that assures us…

We’ll always be blessed and caressed
By the welcoming kiss, the affection
The gentleness of one who silences
Every doubt, frees us from the grief
And stirs up hope inside our smile

Without her, we’d never know…
The meaning of a love that will always grow
Deep down inside, where her kindness
Prepared us for a future in this world,
While stirring up belief in the world to come…

Without her, we’d never know what it is…
To be loved unconditionally, with a love that is…
As close to God’s love as we could ever experience
Here on earth, where we are merely
Human, mortal – a creature who He created
To love with a love that is forever, endless

Kindness becomes a promise…
When we know the woman who loves
Unconditionally and completely
With a love that is God’s answer to each
Heart who needs to feel cherished,
Loved with a love only He could impassion
A love that only He could spark…
	A fire inside the heart

Kindness… is the essence of the woman
We call mother, mom… the gift and blessing
Who is such a wonderful treasure from heaven!
