Love is when you have a butterflies in the pit of your stomach 
When you are near someone that makes you jittery. 
Do not confuse this with lust 
Because you may spend your life in misery. 
Love will find you when you least expect
Always show others respect 
This will attract people to you like opposite polarities 
Then you might find someone with common similarities 

Love is when you cannot stand to spend time apart
Even though you are together in heart
However, true loves test is trust in the other
When you cannot be together 
Jealousy is an ugly beast 
That may just drive a wedge from the northwest to the southeast 

Love is also blind. 
You may just find it when you’re in a bind
It could be at a church, an event, or even at work 
They could also be in your friend’s network 
Love also allows us to look past bad traits 
Especially if we find our soul mates 


Love can make us do a crazy thing. 
That would make our love’s heart sing
You could jump out of a plane 
Or something else that may cause pain 
One could leap bounds 
Possibly even fight a boxer for a few rounds 

Love is unconditional
While also dispositional
It is not meant to be contrived
And we should not let ourselves be deprived 
For love is a beautiful gift
According to Jonathan Swift 
Love is not for others to critique
Because most of all love is unique.
