If I were rich 
I wouldn't speak
 keep it all to myself
Lost in a world where they ain't true
I call it selfish
Put my emotions in a book
And place it all on a shelf 

The day finally came
All the years and tears
I try not to think on it
I'm living my worst fear
They can take her 
but what about me
Don't I even exist
He lay down and still plot
Then seal it with a kiss

If I had it to do again
I would start from day one
Give my heart to real.one
Who over the years 
taught me to be strong

Now I strive to make money 
and it doesn't come back
Lay down with a man 
who with no morals
Emotions
He lack

He lie then run to her
Smile in my face
Took my deepest treasure
To him.i never gave
Then I sit back and wonder why
Replaying what did I do
Why wasn't I just strong enough
To keep my own and see life through

If I
Had the chance
I would bend my knees to pray
Tell God to keep me ice
And take away the pain

Yet I see her smile and think God had a plan
Now trapped in this dishonesty
All stemming from a man
Another opportunity 
only God would know
Surrounded by opportunists
Who do it all for a show

Love you and it ain't real
The dollars was the plot
If I had it to do again
Give my love to her my child
She's all I really l  really got

The choices the thoughts
They plague 
continuously in my head 
If I had my way
The pain wouldn't stay
I would come home
And hear the sweetest words
Get a hug and I love you
And know it's pure gold
