Poem

Everything has been lacking in my life.
When I inhaled such as venting brain smoke.
To create a commotion or keep me awoke.
It was a stupid game that wasn't endless strife.

When I screamed, infinity surrounded me,
I swallowed the cry and covered my chest,
twisting the notion and unclear to suggest,
I looked across the glass with declining ability. 

Rejecting the purpose of hedonistic fantasies
Once, I rooted on one which was now missing.
Still aspiring to the heights, and reminiscing.
Stargazing, though, hinders horrible realities. 

I was guilty of sin, atonement, and sorrow.
My distress was at all moral rules and hate.
What's the root of all the apathy, envy, and bait?
I sought solace from every sorrow and furrow. 

Each had unique needs and felt a blazing fire.
One myriad spirit crawled, died, and grieved.
It was late for the hungry man to feel relieved.
I saw his eyes, heard his sigh, and felt his desire.

I spotted a large fog bank on two sunk boats.
I had no relief in pain, and the final gasp is mine.
My grief was met by the tide on my fishing line.
Once the sky falls, a river of howls rips the throat.
