MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING ME

Thank You for understanding me in my ignorance
Unconditionally loving me with merciful perseverance
Around Your salvation-assurance
Of eternal redemption’s insurance.

Thank You for understanding me in my foolishness
Unfailingly teaching me with wise truthfulness
Around Your Scripture-completeness
Of illumining discipleship’s fruitfulness.

Thank You for understanding me in my disability
Unceasingly transforming me with useful capacity
Around Your might-sovereignty
Of effective ministry’s stability.

Thank You for understanding me in my gloom
Undoubtedly forgiving me with purging love from guilt doom
Around Your joyfulness-room
Of peaceful contentment’s bloom.

Thank You for understanding me in my inefficiency
Undeniably inspiring me with faithful constancy
Around Your righteousness-fervency
Of productive stewardship’s persistency.

Thank You for understanding me in my discouragement
Untiringly cheering me with revival engagement
Around Your presence- fulfillment 
Of active fellowship’s commitment.

Thank You for understanding me in my frustration
Unfalteringly exhorting me with guiding admonition
Around Your Word-instruction 
Of blessed prayerfulness’ function.
