Poem

I am a barbecue chicken man
and I don't mean from a can
grill or roast it slow and long
slather that sauce on strong
You bet I like it wet
saucy and tangy sweet
Barbecue is like
making candy out of meat
Simmering in it's juices that barbecue smell
makes your mouth water for that barbecue meal
The chicken so tender it self debones
taste so good you'll want to chew the bones
Lick your fingers lick your plate
let none of that barbecue flavor escape
Be sure to make enough for even more
your neighbors for a taste at your door
And when the barbecue chicken is all gone
those barbecue ribs need gnawing on.
