I know you think you will die
No, you won’t die 
If things don’t get better 
You will not die
If love fails you 
You will not die 
If your landlord kicks you
You still will not die
And the rain starts  beating you 
You still will not die
If your friends all leave 
You still will not die 
And you have to beg for food 
You won’t die 
And your wounds stop healing 
You still will not die 
And the sickness is unto death 
You still won’t die
You will be doing nothing 
nothing that makes it worse 
You will be nothing, no one 
And no one can’t die 
The darkest moment is the moment of light
You will learn the meaning of your suffering 
It will turn to suffering with meaning 
like surgical pain 
It is suffering with purpose 
And you will not die 
You will find purpose in the face of death
And you won’t  die
When  hope is the only thing that  remains 
You will not die 
You will find a way of  doing something 
And you won’t die
You will  be somebody
You will become who you should be 
You will treat your future self with love and kindness
You will extend this to others beyond yourself
And you will love the world again 
And when death comes 
You still won’t die 
You became love 
And the universe will continue expressing itself in your name
