A sincere thank you from the bottom of my heart,
For putting your life on the line each and every day.
It’s a wonderful thing that you do, and in no small part,
Helping to show the world that freedom is here to stay.

I think of you often and the life that you must live,
And I say a prayer for you each and every night.
I think of your family and what they also give,
Knowing what you do is dangerous, but also right.

I want you to know that, although you don’t know me,
I’m proud of you in more ways than you could imagine.
I’ll forever think of you as part of my family,
And I’ll always be here for you through thick and thin.

I’m one of millions that you help protect and save
From a life without freedom, a life of tyranny.
You’re one of the few that are courageous and brave
For standing up and joining the U.S. Military.

Although I’m only one, I’m one who’s full of pride.
I give you my support, with all of my heart and soul.
A sincere thank you from someone who’s on your side
For helping lead America to such a righteous goal.
