July 22 Scripture Meditations Based on Isaiah 40-48

Key Verse – Isaiah 40:2 Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD'S hand double for all her sins.

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR PARDONING ME

Thank You for pardoning me and my iniquity
As I repent with honest sincerity
According to Your righteous purity
So that I can be cleansed against infirmity.

Thank You for pardoning me and my sinfulness
As I seek You with confession-conscientiousness
According to Your holy graciousness
So that I can be sanctified against filthiness.

Thank You for pardoning me and my pride
As I approach You humbly, devoid of arrogant stride 
According to Your Word as my guide
So that I can be abased against haughtiness-slide.

Thank You for pardoning me and my idolatry
As I claim it with worshipful victory
According to Your authoritative glory
So that I can be focused against selfishness toward Calvary.

Thank You for pardoning me and my transgression
As I accept Your forgiveness with grateful devotion
According to Your wholehearted purification
So that I can be healed against abomination-affliction.

Thank You for pardoning me and my defilement
As I beseech You with prayerful predicament
According to Your purging fulfillment
So that I can be hallowed against worldly enticement.

Thank You for pardoning me and my disobedience
As I practice fervent faith and good works of committed diligence
According to Your mercy and truth’s prevalence
So that I can be disciplined against slothfulness’ persistence.
