Poem
In the morning’s gentle sun Reflecting dewdrops on petals, blooms Erasing darkness with such beauty Growing hope that lasts eternally In the kiss of a soothing rain Falling quietly, relieving the thirsty Nourishing the parched earth With whispers of delicious liquid Pouring out hope into the spirit In the embrace of the forest Where emerald pines and laurels Silence each sigh of the wind Singing its love song to the soul Reminding us that hope is alive Coloring the life in hues of attraction Feelings felt by the one who agrees Hearts and souls find hope in the trees In the passion of an ocean breeze There lives a joy that thrives in the sea Gracious waves, powerful and wild, Talk to the heart about hope that is excited Eager to bring us the laughter, the light That fills up the spirit with wonder Elation that is more brilliant and vibrant Than the music that thrives on the thoughts Exciting, uplifting, exhilarating Giving a sense of grace and tenderness In the kindness of the fireflies Flickering across the darkest night Reassuring the thoughts, the mind With pleasures dancing, promising Rapture beyond our imaginings Inklings of love, purest praise In the stars and the moon, awake Melodies of heavenly thanks Prisms of sighs, clear breaths Of His inspiration, His creativity The abundance of a hope so brilliant It restores the confidence and courage The desires and dreams and fires Of God’s word echoed in our prayers In the heavens, where love abounds There is a hope that can only be found In His grace, His joy, His peace The Love that abides in those He saves Because His Son offers a way To open the door with sincerest faith To the spirit’s deliverance From the darkness, the doubt The perpetual burdens and fears The endless depths of murky tears In Him, there is a hope that grows unendingly!
