This is the rest of our lives
Yet they pin us down
Do it, they say
Be whatever, however
Be with whomever, however
Just to have a title
And not to be questioned
Because of these damned timelines

Don't rush us
We actually have nowhere to be 
We don't have to actually belong
There, at that corner there
Just a little space, we need it
So that we can peer, search, look
In dismay and owe
Whilst hibernating and being
The deviants!

Of course it will be hard
It already is
Don't lump us with the devil and evil spirits
They will become fathoms,
With the ability to drag down even living lions
What makes it so hard to believe,
That we as humans on our own are capable of being, what you perceive, defective

Of course they will ask a lot of questions
Questions to answers they don't actually care for 
Answers they can't comprehend
Because when it actually came down crumbling
They fell and relented
They didn't question or prob
Or they actually found what they were looking for
Just under the neck of time
Without question or trial
Conforming to societal ideal

Yet some us struggle
Whatever for we don't know
All we know is what we are being given isn't it
Even if we end up buying the counterfeit
This has nothing to do with right or wrong
It has everything to do with personal conviction
Doesn't matter we end up falling
