Key Verse – Judges 5:2 Praise ye the LORD for the avenging of Israel, when the people willingly offered themselves. 

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR AVENGING ME

Thank You for avenging me by Your mercy
When I willingly offer myself to You thru Your clemency
Keep me trusting You and Your help’s constancy…
You are my Father Who loves me despite my inconsistency.

Thank You for avenging me by Your protection
When I dependently yield myself to You with utmost subjection 
Keep me surrendering to You and Your authority’s commission…
You are my Lord Who governs me despite my insubordination.

Thank You for avenging me by Your deliverance
When I wholly lay myself to You along Your assurance
Keep me seeking You and Your favour’s appearance…
You are my Guide Who leads me despite my ignorance.

Thank You for avenging me by Your security
When I joyfully entrust myself to You midst inability
Keep me hiding in You and Your certainty…
You are my Shield Who defends me despite my vulnerability.

Thank You for avenging me by Your might
When I earnestly give myself to You with delight
Keep me abiding in You and in Your light…
You are my Strength Who empowers me despite my carnal blight.

Thank You for avenging me by Your defense
When I completely submit myself to You devoid of any pretense
Keep me staying in You and in Your presence…
You are my Life Who upholds me despite my offense.
