Poem
the sun is on its knees, disease leaks out their eyes; alive, it fans the drain’s release; a holy light complies; it dries and- burned and held and spined. their molting hair entwined; divine all- whole in scar and mind; a tar that saps and cries; awry saliva seeping under eyes- defined- defied- and coloring seeds, the sunlight meeting needs, alieved- all impotent yet it breathes, you see- apostles in those leaves- a toss towards sainthood deeds of- awful plights and seams colossal- copse and coppice read- the feed; abound in fervent need- for knees; you can’t afford to bleed- it seems; a noose of resin floods the scene- their hands make mulch and gush when squeezed, atoning for- the autumn leaves their seeds are filling- open knees, the trees are sprouting- as they please- from knees to knees a boiled breeze is- glazing over knotted crease, the skin pull taught and atrophies appalled- enthralled- by pious means, the knees are weeping sap and teeth, their caps bend back as bark retreats; their knees tear leaves their knees their knees are- addled by the branching cleave, they’re piecing clouds with twigs and screams, a violent stream of timber feed; the orb kneels down with open seams; asunder come- from knees to knees they ate the sun- their knees their knees
