Composed couplets Connoted every facets Words of wisdom they're World needs them forever Be it a love or life or when yours in strife Just go through these verses which certainly ruin your curses To cherish the value of friendship To maintain dignified courtship To allure the purpose of nature To discern the importance of water To deal with the wealth To take care of one's health To esteem each and every soul To govern, rule and control To fathom the knotty things To perceive what karma brings To savor the joy of giving To grasp the art of living Do read these 1 1/2 line verses they indeed have a lot to converse Penned by Thiruvalluvar some thousands of years ago, these 1330 couplets of 7 words, still glow; Translated into many languages and suitable for people of all ages, the Thirukkural has words of wisdom; Read it and shine like colors of spectrum Wikipedia : The Thirukkural ( 'sacred verses') is a classic Tamil language text consisting of 1,330 short couplets, or kurals.The text is divided into three books with aphoristic teachings on virtue (aram), wealth (porul) and love (inbam), respectively. Considered one of the greatest works on ethics and morality, it is known for its universality and secular nature. Its authorship is traditionally attributed to Valluvar, also known in full as Thiruvalluvar. The text has been dated variously from 300 BCE to 5th century CE.
