Poem

Once I saw my sister out in the meadow
Picking wild daisies and black-eyed susans
She was happy then, I could easily tell,
I watched her from the veranda window
She tossed her lovely hair out of her eyes
And carefully arranging each flower 
In a bouquet, she flitted like a bee from
Colorful stem to stem, I heard her sighs.

My sister went faraway to wait for me
A couple of years ago, quite unexpectedly
And ever since, I have missed her sighs,
But I recall the memories so pleasantly,
She is in the meadow choosing a bouquet
And she calls for me to join her someday.
