Poem
Imperceptive Tell me how painful it’s when we all die. Is it more painful than life made me cry? I am not living; don’t ask me why. Too many shadows are passing me by. Dreaming every night, in dreams, I’m free. I know now that I’m different from me! The I, is childish, joyful with glee. His life is painful and trapped within me. I am the water seeking the sea. Hoping to find it, yet I can’t see. Where is this sea that I want to see? I might be the sea; how do I see? Free in my mind, I sing like a bird. All day and all night, trying to be heard. No one can hear since fear is here. Nothing seems real; life is too blurred. Who is the person behind my eyes? Who is the driver that drives and tries? The man is drunken wasted my life. He is constantly wearing disguise. Tell me the answer, why I can’t fly? In my dreams, I can fly in the sky. What is real, and what is the dream? If I cannot fly, then I want to die. 6/30/2021 Note: This poem is in the form of "Rubaiyat", it is the plural form of Rubai. Rubai is a quatrain with the rhyming of AABA or AAAA. Each Rubai is a book by itself, it starts and ends within the quatrain. The painting is acrylic on canvas.
