Poem
If there was a time machine I'd go back in time With all the great technologies to reprogram my mind Id prepare for the worst and plans to make a stand And go to college and learn philosophy understand better who to find I'd yearn to see mountains with waterfalls of grace And each place i go would bring a special smile to my face To recognize beauty more than skin deep You must understand people and how that they think So when you're at a coffee shop or in the store These smiling faces to be adored Can be convoluted with many locked doors They come with a price and it's a really good deal If you're just like a thief at the ready to steal Your perception that is of what is the truth Left you hungry for violence, or sex maybe food They please to the senses and dazzle our peers As you travel along gathering wisdom with years You love as a hope for the blind hearted fool Who just misplaced his steps and got stuck in a rut It's really easy to look down and pass judgement on thee Even though hast more to pass judgement on me Because I started off easy with obvious signs You saw my set of words and thought wow this is basic But I told you my friend you find honesty between spaces Not of time or of place this truth carries faces And it walks alongside men of each color and race It's the mask we put on when we would go out and play Or got picked up from school gone home on that day It's the taunting of a bully projecting what's inside While the scrawny kid runs relays to get home alive It's the reason you wake up with overwhelming glee And the sight of a crimson sunrise that shines through a silhouette of trees It's your Happiness clinging to all that you see Bringing balance to tides fueled from mountain tops, streams Nomenclature can seem like a big awful mess I'll stick to naming my things you can have all the rest Do you see what my point is? There is much to this life Like loves first kiss blossoms A man and his wife We all will face struggles common pain and strife So stop all your b****ing and strap on them worn boots Get out that front door you must make your first move Delving into the sciences of should and should not do I'm not talking down or just filling a space Even if I wrote in ink you would say rendered a pen I'm talking about unity and accepting our faults Becoming a servant of our own relationship to oneself The point I make is not a trick or some quaint fallacy Its just a simple gesture to understanding reality*ran out space*
