They sell us to death the American Dream.
It wheedles; it whines; it badgers; it yells;
With wit and without, just simply to sell:
Gold MasterCard, taste a smooth Nestle´ bar,
How you can remove every childhood scar;
Seek out your true mate, reduce mortgage rates,
You need a loan? You don’t have to wait!
Leaders and gutters, Parkay- not butter,
Send a bouquet and make her heart flutter;
Grow beautiful nails, yes, please save the whales
That actor! His movie! All the details!
One snug Sealy bed, now talk to the dead,
