While afloat with memories of you, I recalled the beauty of your soul, the smell of your soap scented skin.

While afloat with memories of you, my mind is impregnable of how the hem of your patched calico dress swept the dust from your worn-out shoes.

While afloat with memories of you, I fondly relive the moments of your callous hands warmly and gently caressing my waiting cheeks, and brushing back my tight curls from my face.
