Poem
1/23/21 I lived and learnt Will I ever lift this curse? I offer many gifts to Earth It either did or didn't work I ended up in last place or finished first Got so much to do, before I'm in the dirt I remained calm or went berserk I'm a nice guy, even though at times I've been a jerk On the go or staying inert After what is hidden I search At times I was all in Or I was stallin Often ballin Or frequently being downfallen Around areas with pollen I've found peace in a world that can be chaotic It went very well or turned out catastrophic Being a continual fool or using logic Call it what you want to call it Always been a chronic stoner and alcoholic Did little or it left me catatonic Sometimes happy, often melancholic Occasionally feeling nostalgic Rarely ever do I frolic If needed, I was brolic At times it meant nothing or was symbolic While folks were often being diabolic Getting worked up People quick to speak, and to cause the first punch I struggled to understand, and also learned much Been having the best and the worst luck Too often I was sipping syrup I was sluggish, or I had a burst of Energy and continued to turn up Doing something typical or what was unheard of As bridges remained or were burnt up It was kept quiet, always trying to hide it Or leaked, causing others to riot Because once again it was biased And one-sided Keeping folks divided So that they would be simple minded The outcome is yet to be decided I've been David, and I've been Goliath Was an ant and was a giant I was at my lowest and I was at my highest While below the constellation 'Orion' On land among snakes and lions And amid the sea near friendly ships or pirates Remaining the same or a change in the climate Based off of much more than science They never wanted an alliance Only compliance That's why it was fatal for those that displayed defiance During a time of crisis Nearby a cypress And a Ibis Saw it all through my third eyelid and iris A real one not no ficus
