Execute the steal 
Professing rather than real
The truth to conceal

Blessing progeny
Highlights God's sovereignty
Not autonomy

Man's wisdom swaggers
'Til adversity staggers
Making Sandbaggers

Men try to judge Him
When self-righteousness rules them
Worthless stratagem

Respect peoples' pain
And do not rush to explain
Restrain your right brain

Grief cannot be weighed
Those sudden terrors arrayed
So wild words are brayed

Christ's hope the refrain
Easing the pressure of pain
He suffered for GAIN

Like sending back Ruth
Like pulling out the wrong tooth
Like misapplied truth

Judgment reigns upon
Stopped listening to the Son
Can't see damage done

As Pharaoh once said
Who is this Lord I should dread?
His potsherds are spread

There is no do-over
For death is a crossover
Let Christ takeover

He hardens to break
Your broken life to remake
Nine:eighteen at stake

God is not triggered
"In the beginning" - figured
"Kingdom" - transfigured

He gifts you the test
Refining faith to its best
Grace fills in the rest

Going toe-to-toe
Your toughened mettle will grow
In blow after blow

I will mark my way
Ebenezers to display
My Guide had his sway

Believe or accuse
His school of wisdom to choose
Not the clever ruse

Like jumping offside
Some flaws you just cannot hide
Will must override

Blowing a big lead
Team abortion won't succeed
Outcome is decreed

Yes, it rhymes with strife
Still, God's sacred gift is life
Better sheath the knife

Mankind's fateful dearth
Fails to determine true worth
Vanity gives birth

Riches from above
Experiencing loyal love
David got hold of

You say, "He's not fair!"
He says, "Will you be My heir?"
Ironic affair

His fast moving squall
His cascading waterfall
Our handiwork small

We only see splays
Outer fringes of His ways
Faith has more to say

Their values still hold
The Ancients' honey and gold
Like His word we're told

"How long and how much
Does a loser need his Crutch?"
Providence is Clutch!

Your children's laughter
Reveals who they take after
Same with your Master

The way to wisdom
Is a Person we can't plumb
Faith can receive some

If I'm going down
And cannot stay above ground
Faith is my rebound

Sow duplicity
Barbed wire protects harmony
Cow to unity

Football smells rattle
My helmet and pads tattle
The scent of battle

From washed-up driftwood
To remaking my manhood
His ultimate good

His wisdom in rhyme
Yields fruit at the proper time
His grace is sublime
