Poem
Hand in hand, under the trench. Always sitting, on the same bench. Class one - till twelfth, he was all mine. Both of us always on cloud nine! Mornings in the school and evenings under the sky. Aww! we were such cutie pies. Cute and naughty, hot and sporty, Sleek and tall, perfect bratty. He was way too chirpy. Every game, every competition we always had a tie! Our attitude was just too high! Teachers spinning around, management on merry go round. At basketball ground, on jogging rounds, coaching classes and allllll around. Our fun and tactics held everyone spellbound! After his farewell, from the school compound. I started missing his naughty missions that would astound. Maybe I loved him! Oh, I am surprised! Hey! Did it stay disguised? Years passed by, No tears, no cry! This confusion remained at back of my mind! May be emotions always stayed entwined. A new man in my life. Today I am known as his wife. We love each other, we have no strife. New posting, new house ..we began to thrive! From my kitchen window, Just looked down to see around, A silhouette in the kitchen down below, Kissed and hugged his wife! My curiosity to know them was on rise! Is he the same boy! If this was destined, why is he married and I am with another guy? Still handsome! Ah! Still so cool! Neither he said anything, nor did I ignite the fuel. Yes, he too remembered the school! We both happy with our loving spouse. There was no reason to ditch them or to rouse. Still his glimpse made me happy, was there any cause? I know his eyes followed me, And I often looked for his sight. Days went by, my baby bump was now clearly showing. His furious eyes questioning me as if I was betraying! I still remember that sad look, when I last saw him going! If so much was billowing, Why neither he nor I ever tried to confide, while we were growing!
