There is a particular nun 
that has made an impact upon my life
Sister Dorthea, has been a gift to me,
a true gift of God to this earthly plane.
The light that shines around her 
can be felt by all when she is near 
and when she speaks, 
the sound that comes out 
can only be described as angels 
singing their heavenly song 
in perfect harmony.

I feel so hopeful and I am 
surrounded by pure love 
when she is around, 
but what I feel is more than that. 
It's a feeling that I'd imagine to be 
what was felt by those who stood 
in the presence of Jesus Christ, so long ago.
I believe she brought 
some of that energy with her 
when she descended from Heaven 
to bless all that know her and 
with the sole purpose of spreading 
that purely unconditional love 
and her knowledge of God.

I'd say she is an angel herself, 
put here to teach and guide those 
that have veered off their own paths 
or lost their way completely 
in this journey we call life. 
She knows so much more than I 
in the ways of Heavenly love,
She knows of things in this life 
that I couldn't even imagine. 

She has such unshakeable faith. 
Her faith is so strong that 
not even Mother Earths 
strongest earthquake,
largest tsunami or 
most destructive hurricane 
could make it waver. 
There was a time in my life, 
when my own faith became weak. 
She stayed by my side through it all. 
She helped me see just how strong I am 
and how much my life is worth.

She walked beside me when 
I could stand on my own, 
and when I'd stumble 
she'd offer me her steady hand. 
The days where I couldn't go on, 
she carried me, pushed and pulled me 
and wouldn't let me give up 
even if I couldn't see any other way.  
I'm here today because of her, 
my faith is now as strong as granite 
and I have a true connection with God, myself..  
I'm sure she wasn't put here 
for her to help just one but 
Sister Dorthea has been a gift of God 
sent from Heaven to earth 
to helps those in need, like me.
