Rain



My cornerstone is in the rain and the rain is going to come down to my house and the rain is going to be cold and 
The cold rain is going to be late 
And the late rain is going to be a long time coming 
And the long time coming rain will be all the worry
And all the worry will be all the same
And all the same will be all the worry
For there will be no change 
And with no change there will be stagnation 
And with stagnation there will be no progress 
And with no progress 
There will be failure
And with failure
There will be disappointment 
And with disappointment comes defeat
And with defeat comes destruction
And with destruction come decline 
And with decline comes  death 
And with death comes decay   
And with decay comes despair
 And with despair comes uncertainty 
And with uncertainty comes fear 
And with fear comes distress 
And with distress comes misery
And with misery comes torture
And with torture comes torment 
And with torment comes suffering 
And with suffering comes ache
And with ache comes fragility 
And with fragility comes imbalance 
And with imbalance comes s disorder
And with disorder comes misbehavior 
With misbehavior comes trouble 
With trouble comes concern 
And with concern comes flashlights and sirens 
And with flashlights and sirens come handcuffs 
And with sirens and handcuffs comes a jailhouse 
And with a jailhouse comes a jail cell
And with a jail cell come mates 
And with mates comes jealousy
And with jealousy comes gossip
And with gossip comes violence 
And with violence comes death 
And with death comes heartache
And with heartache comes grief
And with grief comes mourning 
And with mourning comes night
And with night comes darkness
And with darkness comes sorrow
And with sorrow comes dilemma 
And with dilemma comes him or me
And between him and me comes God
And with God comes light
And with light comes a path
And with a path comes a road 
And with a road comes a journey 
And with a journey comes discovery 
And with discovery comes enlightenment 
And with enlightenment comes power
And with power comes greed
And with greed comes inequality
And with inequality comes corruption
And with corruption comes fraud
And with fraud comes crime
And with crime comes injustice
And with injustice comes inaccuracy
And with inaccuracy comes the absence of God
And with the absence of God comes falsehood
For God is omniscient
And  omniscience is everywhere 
In the mind ,body and soul
For God reigns even in the devil’s den
For he created him 
And the snake he became
Sinking the world into sin
