He sits staring into space
Feeling like nobody cares
Feeling like he's all alone
Nobody to turn to
Nobody to talk to
He feels like he's being ripped apart
He wanders if anyone knows how he feels inside
If anyone knows about the recurring thoughts of suicide
He wanders if anyone can still see the scars
If anyone cares enough to ask
To ask why
Why did you do it
Why
He goes from day to day confused
Wandering why he did the crap that he did
The drugs
The alcohol
The razors
Wandering why he ever did
Knowing that they were wrong
Knowing that they saved his live
But still wandering why
He wanders if there is a way out
He prays daily for the pain to go away
But it always seams to come back
He wanders why God lets the pain keep coming back
He prays for a answer
An answer as to why
Why does the pain keep coming back

He sits in the dark crying
Scared to let anybody know
Scared of rejection
He knows exactly what it's like
To sit in a crowded room
And feel totally and completely alone
He fights to restrain the tears
All because of his biggest fear
All because he knows that if anyone hears
Things will only get worse
Why is the world so cruel

He has a hard time trusting people
He feels that he cant
That he cant tell anybody how he feels
He's been betrayed to many times
Why is the world so cold,
So cruel

He wanders why cant they accept you for who you are
Why do they feel that they have to lower and degrade others
To make themselves feel better
He wanders why they cause so many to kill themselves
He wanders why the world is so so cold
So cruel
The only thing that keeps this guy from killing himself
Is the kind words of the few good people who actually care
Who show compassion to others
Even if they don't know them
They love them like they do
He thanks God for these people
These people who kept him alive
And if you're wandering who this person is
It's me
I still need your prayers
I'm still having problems
I go in and out of anger and depression
Sometimes for no reason at all
Your prayers help me
And you're all heroes
Weather you know it or not
You saved my life
So to all of my real friends
And the people who helped me
Even though you didn't know me
