Poem

I am having a heavenly day among swaying flowers,
away from my usual city existence;
tumbling, I lay supine beneath a huge tree,
under the safety of cool emerald leaves.
A raging stream not far flows on it's forest journey,
oh, there is such a  sweetness in the simplicity of nature;
as I listen to birds twittering and bees buzzing,
watching the sun shine on a distant hill.
Lovely horses come galloping across the country field,
but, soon my eyes close and I have a dream of leaping;
the sun touches me with a caress of warmth,
and delicate hues of wild flowers sway a dance. 
The sun is high in the bright azure sky and still I lay,
then, a gossamer wing kisses my ruby lips startling me;
and a beautiful blue butterfly hovers above me fluttering,
and I am full of harmony, peace and calm . . . .
