Poem
Fleet of foot, down the stone steps, she seems to float, now, ready to chase the wind, Auburn locks now dancing. Beauty dances through the crowds, on golden walkways, she moves with grace, upward, ever upward, her long legs, running strong, onward, pushing onward. Revellers watch enthralled, she dances with such skill, through them, the warrior queen, a beautiful shadow, she hurries along, to await her love. She wants but too reach their special place, in the spot where she meets her Dark Man, the love of the heaven's, flows. Cheers now ring out, for the warrior queen as she quickly passes, the warrior queen, a Captain in the kings guard, all know her name, she is known as the Tigress. this woman, this warrior Queen, this Tigress, loved by all, henceforth, Tigress she shall be. still, she runs upward, this beautiful warrior chases the wind. Her feet now upon the second level, she still moved lithely through the crowd, so many people bar her way, the storm clouds above, they grow darker, lightning strikes the ground, thunder crashes, soon he shall come. Now the cheers arise to the storm, the thunder sings to its brother, Dark Man, upon Turvehr, leaving the heart of the storm. Humanities sea, it opens before the Tigress, as the sea opened before Moses, all knew who came, all knew why. The Tigress ran on, she was running for the stars, nothing would bar her way to the stars, her mind was in its cocoon of love, so softly singing, a love song resplendent, her heart's love singing a love's refrain. Now, I must have a break, your humble Bard must sup, taking time to slake my thirst, come lass, bring me the board, mead for my horn. Oh, mighty ones, the story shall go on, the song is still to be sung, yet for these few moments, I beg your indulgence. the mists now fall upon Alahsar, our scene shall be masked, then j0urney in itself, only begun, the song has far to travel, this is a mighty song, this song of Alahsar, it shall be long in the telling, soon the song once more shall awake, your living mind, to the song of Alahsar. Chapter..........1..........Part..........1..........3. Come, my Lords and Ladies, let us refresh ourselves, as we wait for the mists of time to dissipate, for Alahsar to return to our sight. The mead revives the throat, the meat fills the stomach, the words are now within my mind, the song ready to begin, within a new chapter. My Lords and Ladies, we return to Alahsar. To be continued.
