Poem
A small door to pass thru I hear the creaking of the door and those mellow sounds. If I had only been a person I could partake of the events, You don’t know me but I certainly know your faces I know when you arrive and leave for then its peaceful I’ve been here for awhile and plan to stay much longer although I live alone I find things to do that are entertaining. Having heard the prayers and have seen the promising words I yearn that all will be granted for those who pass thru the doors. I don’t know what day of the week that I hear the sounds of angels and see the flickering candles from a distance from my abode Time on the calendar has no purpose in my daily activities. I always hear the bells ring but not sure of the purpose. Many people chatter and rummage about above me which I then sense will be the breaking of my peaceful day. However it’s then that I hear and know that I am safe in my home and feel the certainty of being part of the blessings that come down upon me and give me the strength to carry on as the mouse in the church.
