(verse 1)
Yo we'll let bygones be bygones though bygones bite on
blessed to have had the good times it’s life it all went wrong

though it hurts good memories
to the end you’ll always be 
my friends and never enemies 
mean the most I’ve ever meet

however far we go our bond 
won’t break for it is strong
no place or time too go beyond 
will make our bond be gone

If friends need me I’m in for it
they show it back we’re infinite
forever will our flame be lit
for nothing can extinguish it

once we were a family
smoking high on chronic leaf
chilled out in a world of peace
everyday without relief

oh so happy memories
I swear we smoked it endlessly
whenever and where ever we
are fact is they'll forever be

but now it's all moved on and things are very different
distanced by life paths it all seems less significant
memory banks still put those days at the forefront
If I had to pick a time and place man those days were awesome

that spliff's now todays roach
didn't see the change encroach 
our memories our badge and broach
too many spliffs soo many tokes

in our heart of hearts we will always be OUR family
through angry times and happy too you can always come and stand with me

Overtime life will become about survival
suddenly your friends will become your very rivals
just never ever allow them become your enemies
they are the only ones sharing same treasured memories

life will give many many things you don't want in your memories
like the many people you meet only out to be your enemies
this is where you'll learn there's "need" and "want" to being rivals
keep your close friends close if you want to see survival

and make sure little fall outs
stay and remain before nows
you've laid a strong foundation
build a fortress you and yours house

Know forgiveness betters forget, it doesn't separate,
when before long there's regret, never find better mates

only you and your mates replay the same memories
no one else alive will ever know or remember these
put petty differences aside along with your enemies
rivals try to lock you in, in life, friends are the survival keys

we'll all live many many days 
but never relive better days
don't see friends as only memories
I hope my friends remember me
